Symptoms

Oracle Key Manager KMA on the x2100and x2200 m2 platforms may have ELOM issues where the web interface gives error on some screen tab selections.

Error Internet Explorer cannot display web page. (Firefox will also display similar error)

Cause

We have seen issues with the x2100 x2200 ELOM SP board become hung on certain TAB selections, or ELOM web interface not work.

Solution

Fix is to reset the SP board.

If able to get into web elom, select Maintenance, Reset SP.
This will only reset the ELOM SP board not the actual KMS server.
Reset will take a few mintes to complete and then log back in.

If Maintenance Tab from web GUI also generates cannot display web page, then to reset you need to ssh/putty into the ELOM IP.

Login in as root default password(changeme), issues command reset.
ssh/putty window will close after issuing the reset, wait a few minutes and try the web gui functions again.
If after an SP reset and this still fails contact Tape Hardware Support via MOS and reference this solution.
