Symptoms

SDP1302 HBOT Failure
RC1302
Result code 1302

Hand Bot will not initialize.

Cause

The Result Code 1302 is reported by an HBOT. It is a generic robot failure code. In most cases, this code is posted when the HBOT fails to initialize. Check error-warning-info log, look for 50xx and 54xx codes to determine the cause of this failure.

Solution

If robot is behind service safety door, Customer should vary CAP and elevators offline using SL Console. If the robot is not behind the service safety door, Customer must halt hand-bot operation by placing the library offline with either ACSLS or HSC.

- Review error logs to understand actual robotic failure.

- Look for 50XX and 54XX codes to determine cause of failure.

- Re-initialize robotic hand.

If the problem is not resolved, a Service Request will need to be opened for the Customer Service Engineer to come to the account to fix the problem.  Pull a Log Snapshot from the library to assist in verifying the issue and attach to the SR.  Refer to this knowledge entry when opening the SR.

- If not fixed, replace FRU  (Doc ID 1305969.1)

- Record specific error code and messages associated with failure in case notes.

- Record all relevant visual observations of error in case notes.

- Record final fix in case notes.

CONFIRM THE FIX BY: Check status of robotic hand using SL Console
