Applies to:Sun StorageTek VSM System - Version 4 to 5 [Release 4.0 to 5.0]Sun StorageTek VSM5 System IBM z/OS on System z SymptomsVTSS machines are installed on the customer site with machine-initiated maintenance (MIM) feature through two different services - Service Delivery Platform (SDP) and ServiceTek Plus (STP). A machine-detected error or condition that initiates a call-home sequence from the supported machine to the associated support center host. Error event and log data is available to the support representative for analysis. ChangesServiceTek Plus (STP) support has been disabled since October 31st, 2010. CauseSTP Machine-initiated Maintenance feature support is discontinued/disabled by Oracle. SolutionInstall and configure the Service Delivery Platform (SDP).
