Symptoms
An Oracle Exadata ASR alert is generated when a database node disk enters predictive failure status.
Cause
The physical drive is in predictive failure status.
Impact:
None
Solution
Replace this physical drive as soon as possible.
Please see Section 3.2,
"Servicing Storage Drive" of
Sun Fire X4170, X4270, and X4275 Servers Service Manual for additional information about servicing the disks.
Note: This physical drive is hot-pluggable, which means it can be replaced when power is on.
