SymptomsPTP initialization errors after code upgrade RC5017 ChangesSL8500 firmware 4.73 was installed. CauseSL8500 firmware 4.73 made change to the servo profile of the PTP; increased the current to the PTP sled to provide more margin moving in the channel. With this change, if the long PTP belt is not tensioned correctly, it can cause it to slip on the belt pulley. SolutionRefer to the attached document for complete instructions on how to tighten the (Pass-thru-Port) belt tension. "Any firmware from 4.73 and above could encounter this issue.
