Symptoms

Door interlock open.
LSM will not initialize. IPL procedes to IPL COMPLETE message, then SERVICE REQUIRED indicator illuminates with SEE EVENT LOG message. Event log indicates that the door interlock circuit is open.

Cause

The main door interlock switch actuator was initially mispositioned during install and slightly bent the switch mounting bracket when the door was closed. When the switch mounting bracket is slightly bent, the actuator will not cause the switch to actuate, even if it appears to be properly adjusted.

Bend the main door interlock switch mounting bracket back to the correct angle.
