Symptoms
How to change the passwords on an SN2000 Pocket Hub

Resolution
1) Use a serial cable with a nine pin metal-shielded male connector (same cable as the Access Hub) to connect to the Hub's console port
2) From a PC use a terminal emulation program such as HyperTerm, Procomm or STDS, set the following specifications in the terminal emulation program: Terminal Emulation = VT100 Baud Rate = 19200 Word Length = 8 bits Parity = none Stop bits = 1 Flow control = xon/xoff
3) At the Hub prompt, type the following command: sys set password
4) The hub will then prompt for a password for the monitor mode authority. Enter it, then it will respond for it to be reentered.
5) The hub will then prompt for a password for the administration mode authority. Enter it, then it will respond for it to be reentered. 6) The hub will then show Updating passwords... When the prompt appears, the process is completed.
