Symptoms

 The message, "I2c error: slave did not ACK" is displayed when using Firmware 5.13.0014 during the screset operation on v1280/netra1280.

Cause

A timing firmware bug  <BUG 15212851>

Solution

 

This message does not effect platform operation. This issue will be resolved in Firmware Release 5.17.3, 5.18.0 and all higher releases.   It is strongly suggested to install the most current firmware. See 1342226.1 for how to obtain and install the most current firmware.


Relief/Workaround
No temporary workaround is needed, as the system operation is not effected.
