CauseThe ESMD daemon is responsible for monitoring the temperature and voltage of all components within a F12k/F15k/E20k/E25k. When ESMD detects an over-voltage situation, it reports it to the messages and attempts a graceful shutdown of the domain(s) that contain the offending FRU (in this case, IO10). SolutionAnalysis: The most likely FRU in this case is the IO board being flagged. However, it is possible that the expander board, through which power is suppled to the L1 boards, has failed. Inspect the messages to see if there are any expander-related errors. Action: - Contact your service provider to replace the IO board. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
