Symptoms
NETRA[TM] T 105

When a laptop is connected through the serialA/lom port (sitting at the console prompt) and is disconnected, the laptop sends a break and the system goes down. No users will be able to use the Netra. When you reconnect the laptop the Netra will be down at the OK prompt.

Resolution
While the laptop is connected and at the console prompt, you need to get it to the LOM prompt.

This is accomplished by typing # . Once you are at the LOM prompt, the laptop can be shut down without sending a break. This will keep the Netra T105 up and running.
