Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 1008040.1 : Sun[TM] Secure Application Switch delivers "All Retries Attempted" page
PreviouslyPublishedAs 211078 Symptoms The http virtual service of a Sun[TM] Secure Application Switch (n1000 or n2000 series) delivers an "All Retries Attempted" page. It has exhausted all the retries and sends a close to the client that is requesting. The server has not replied to the requests for each of the retries attempted. Once exhausted we send a close stating all retries attempted. Resolution The only way to get this under control is to get the real services situation in sync to what the server health checks (SHC) detect. This may include to change the SHC probe type or timing. More information on changing SHC is on Relief/Workaround Additional Information This behavior appears if an http virtual service connects an appareantly active real service, but the host does not respond. In this situation, the switch generates a web page used as response which contains the string "All Retries Attempted".
