Solution 1007835.1 : System LED unlit on Netra[TM] 20

Symptoms

The system LED (both on the front panel and on the ALOM card) is not lit.
According to the system documentation, the system LED should be lit when
the OS is running and the LOMlite2 software is loaded.

Cause

Inappropriate LED setting.

Solution

Resolution

There are 3 alarms defined on the LOMlite2 card.
However; there are only 2 alarm LED's present.

For a depiction of these LED's refer to:

Netra 20 LEDs

The third alarm manifests itself as the system LED.

Turning on alarm3 will extinguish the system LED.
Turning off alarm3 will light the system LED.

To resolve the problem; log into the ALOM card and issue

 lom> alarmoff 3
