Air flows from the front (fan end)
of the switch to the rear (connector end) of the switch. Air flows through the power supplies
from the sides of the switch to out the front.
The switch has a shorter form factor than Oracle rackmounted computing products. There is a gap
between the rack front door and the switch front panel. To aid in proper airflow management and
minimize air recirculation within the rack, install the air duct assembly at the front of the switch. |
