Netra SPARC T4-1 LEDs

The Netra SPARC T4-1 server provides the following LED groupings:

Front Panel LEDs Rear Panel LEDs

Netra SPARC T4-1 Front Panel LEDs



The front panel LEDs are located on the left hand side of the front panel above Fan Modules (FM0) and (FM1).
These LEDs provide a quick visual check on the state of the system.


LED Name LED color Description
Locator LED and Locator button
White Enables you to identify a particular server. The LED is controlled using one of the following methods:
  • Within the Oracle ILOM interface, set /SYS/LOCATE value=Fast_Blink
  • Press the locator button

  • This LED provides the following indications:
  • Off - Normal operating state.
  • Fast Blink - The server received a signal as a result of one of the preceding methods and is indicating here I am - and that it is operational.
  • Service Action Required LED Amber The service required LED will illuminate when any of the following conditions occur:
  • A fault is detected by the system diagnostics, such as POST
  • When a FRU fails, such as a power supply
  • Power/OK LED Off The system is unavailable. System power might be off or simply disconnected. SP might be running.
    Green - Steady On Normal Operating State
    Green - Slow Blink A normal, but transitory activity is taking place. Possbily system diagnostics are running or the system is booting up.
    Green - Fast Blink System is running in standby mode and can be quickly returned to full function.
    Power on/off Button n/a Turns the system on and off. This button is recessed to prevent accidental server power-off. There is no Power On/Off button on the rear panel.
    Alarm:Critical LED Red Indicates a critical alarm.
    Alarm:Major LED Red Indicates a major alarm.
    Alarm:Minor LED Amber Indicates a minor alarm.
    Alarm:User LED Amber Indicates a user alarm.
    Fan fault LEDs Green Indicates normal operation
    Amber Indicates a fan fault condition.
    Disk Drive: Ready to Remove LED Blue - On Indicates the drive can be removed during a hot-plug operation
    Disk Drive: Service Required LED Amber - On Indicates the drive has experienced a fault condition
    Disk Drive: OK/Activity LED On Read or write activity is in progress
    Off Drive is idle and available for use

     

     

    Netra SPARC T4-1 Rear Panel LEDs

    LED Name Description
    PSU Output Power OK (top, green) Undicates that output power is without fault.
    PSU Service Action Required (middle, amber) Indicates that service for the power supply is required.
    PSU AC or DC Input Power OK LED (bottom, green) Indicates the input power is without fault.

    Service Action Required LED Reference Front Panel Service Required LED listed above
    Power/OK LED Reference Front Panel Power OK LED listed above
