Netra SPARC T4-1B Server Module Front Panel LEDs



LED Name / Color Status Description
Locate Button and
Locate LED / White
Blinking
 The Locate Button has been pushed.
Off
 Normal operating state. The Locate LED can be turned off by pushing the Locate button.
Ready-to-Remove LED / Blue
Steady On
 The blade can be removed from the chassis.
Off
 Normal operation. If LED is off, it is not safe to remove the server module from the modular system chassis. You must use Oracle ILOM to shut down the server module and put the blade into ready to remove state before this LED is on.
Service Action Required LED / Amber
Off
 Normal operation.
On
 Service required.
Power/OK LED / Green
Off
 System is not running in its normal state. System power might be off. The SP might be running.
Fast Blink
 System is running in standby mode.
Slow Blink
 A normal, but transitory activity is taking place. Slow blinking might indicate that system diagnostics are running, or the system is booting.
Steady On
 System is powered on and is running in its normal operating state. No service actions are required.

LED Name Description
Ready to Remove (Blue) This LED is lit to indicate that a hard drive can be removed safely during a hot-plug operation.
Service Required (Amber) This LED is lit when the system is running and the hard drive is faulty.
OK/Activity (Green) On: Read or write activity is in progress
Off: Drive is idle and available for use
