Notes
- The minimum Solaris operating system is Solaris 10 09/10.
- In a two CPU configuration, install P0 and P2 and install fillers in P1 and P3.
- A two CPU configuration will operate at low-line, 100-127Volt, AC input.
- A four CPU configuration requires high-line, 200-240Volt, AC input.
Thermal Grease Notes
- The System Board FRU includes four 250-1802 Cleaning Wipes, and four
310-0065 Shin-Etsu X23-7783D Thermal Grease Syringes.
- Heatsink FRU F310-0228 includes Heatsink 310-0228, one 250-1802 Cleaning Wipe
and one 310-0065 Shin-Etsu X23-7783D Thermal Grease Syringe. The Heatsink is
pre-greased with Shin-Etsu G751 or X23-7783D.
PCI Express Notes
- PCI Express Slots 3 and 4 have 16 shared lanes available. If an x8 card is installed
in Slot 3, Slot 4 has eight lanes available. If an x16 card is installed in Slot 3, no card
will operate in Slot 4.
- PCI Express Slots 5 and 6 have 16 shared lanes available. If an x8 card is installed
in Slot 5, Slot 6 has eight lanes available. If an x16 card is installed in Slot 5, no card
will operate in Slot 6.
- HBA 375-3640 is supported in Slot 2 only.
- HBA 375-3644 is supported in Slot 4 only. Use as an internal HBA is not supported.
