Notes

  1. The minimum Solaris operating system is Solaris 10 6/06 (U2) x64.
  2. The System Board FRU includes two 310-0049 Thermal Grease Syringes.
  3. Cable kit 565-1963 is required to program the CPLD. Refer to FAB 239627.
  4. The 501-7668-04 and 501-7988-02 include the CPLD change for BugID 15438380 [SUNBT6629455].
  5. CPLD code was changed to allow a 25ms waiting period upon an AC power fault to both AC Input power supplies. The change does not apply to systems with DC Input power supplies which have a 10ms holdup time. Reference wo_38378 of January 2008
  6. Each CPU requires one pair of DIMMs.
  7. Install HyperTransport Terminator 371-2481 when only one processor is installed.
  8. Install DIMMs in pairs beginning with DIMM A1 and B1 then DIMM A0 and B0.
