Notes

  1. The FRU does not include CPUs, Disks, Heatsinks, or Memory.
  2. Thermal Grease 310-0065 is included with the System Board FRU.
  3. Heatsink 310-0187 is pre-greased with Shin-Etsu X23-7783D (310-0065).
  4. Heatsink 310-0187 is not available as a FRU.
  5. Press Fault Remind button S3 to illuminate the CPU and DIMM fault LEDs.
  6. Install DIMMs in pairs of two beginning with A0/B0.

Chassis Notes

  1. The X6450 is supported in the Sun Blade 6000 A90-A, A90-B, and Sun Blade 6048.
  2. The X6450 is not supported in the Sun Blade 6000 A90-D.

System Software 3.1 Notes

  1. Sun Blade X6450 components at U36, U79, U89, and U208 sourced from ADV are
    labeled M4T and components sourced from Maxim are labeled 818A.
  2. Dual Fibre Channel Dual Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express ExpressModule 371-4017
    may looses ports after upgrading to X6450 Software 3.1 if the blade was built before
    April 2009 and components at U36, U79, U89, and U208 are labeled M4T.
