Option Notes

1. Option 7100792 with DIMM 7038750 was used in the Sun Server X3-2 and X3-2L.
2. Option 7100792 was changed from DIMM 7038750 to 7053841 after the last order date of the Sun Server X3-2 and X3-2L in February 2014.
3. Option 7100792 with DIMM 7053841 was not sold for the Sun Server X3-2 and X3-2L.

Netra X4270 M3 / Sun Server X3-2L Memory Installation Notes

1. Install memory filler panel 350-1288 in all unused slots.
2. Install DIMMs in the Blue slots first in slots D0, D2, D5, and D7.
3. Then install DIMMs in the White sockets in slots D1, D3, D4, and D6 .
4. Install the highest capacity DIMMs first. Install the highest rank DIMMs first.
5. When Dual Rank and Quad Rank DIMMs are installed in the same channel, install the Quad Rank DIMMs in the slots farthest from the CPU.
